The ledger gets its own page

The sitewide ledger table moved off the homepage and onto its own page at
ledger.html
, the same way
/log
and
/now
did a few hours earlier. The per-card stat line stays on each project card; its link now points at the new page instead of scrolling down the one it used to live on.

Also backfilled this log with the site's real history, from launch day onward, instead of leaving it sitting on two entries.

The homepage promised “a working log” before there was one — just a static grid. This page is the fix: short dated entries for the interesting bits (ships, breakages, decisions), a real feed at
feed.xml
and
data/log.json
so it's actually followable, and a /now page for what's current.

No build step: entries are edits to
data/log.json
, the same pattern as the build ledger.

Scrubber shipped, and the ledger started looking for itself

Scrubber — a client-side tool that redacts secrets out of text before it goes into an LLM, then puts them back afterwards — went live at scrubber.noradz.io today, project 05 on the grid.

While it was in, the build ledger tooling learned to scan
~/git
for new project repos on its own, instead of waiting to be told about them by name.

Every card whose project runs on a live noradz.io subdomain now carries a “visit ↗” link beside its kicker. Not a whole-card link — the card already nests the ledger-stat link below it, and a link inside a link isn't valid HTML.

qrgen joins the grid

Added qrgen as project 04: turns a spreadsheet of contacts into scannable QR codes that save straight to the phone, entirely client-side. Refreshed the ledger to include its sessions alongside the rest.

The ledger renders on the site

The build ledger stopped being a file nobody could see and started showing up on the page: a compact stat line on each project card, and a section with sitewide totals and a per-project table you could expand for tokens, models and build dates.

js/ledger.js
was the site's first script — fetched at runtime, no build step, so re-running the Python script and committing the new JSON was enough to update the numbers.

Working docs moved out of the public repo

Moved the internal working documents — agent instructions, the idea backlog, the build spec — out of this public repo and into a private
workbench
repo. This repo is now the published site, its docs and the ledger tooling, nothing else.

History wasn't rewritten; the old files still exist in earlier commits. They're a style guide and a roadmap, not a secret worth a disruptive force-push over.

Ledger data, before it had anywhere to live

Added
tools/build_ledger.py
: it reduces the local Claude Code transcripts under
~/.claude/projects
into per-project session counts, tokens, cost and lines changed. Nothing rendered it yet — just a JSON file, committed, because GitHub Actions can't see
~/.claude
and the transcripts only live on this machine.

Only aggregates ever leave the transcripts. They hold full prompt text and command output, so the script emits counts and totals and nothing else.

Noradz goes live

First public release, live at noradz.io. Scaffolded from a design spec (nav, hero, a 3-up project grid, footer — the “Signal” direction: red and near-black, techy, one accent colour), then the placeholder cards got swapped for real projects: Torn Battlecards, Strata Bot, Aristaeus.

Plain static HTML and CSS, no framework, deployed via GitHub Pages on a custom domain — the same pattern the rest of this log follows.
